Hey 6th graders:
Hope you're studying hard for tomorrow's quiz...remember that you are welcome to bring a 1-page notes page to use on the quiz!
Here are some things you should know in order to do well on tomorrow's quiz:
-Elements about the Southern, Middle, New England, and Spanish colonies that can be compared and contrasted (ie: government, use of slavery, treatment of natives, major crop, reason it was colonized, etc)
-What a charter is
-Information about Jamestown: why it was settled, who settled it, important people (John Smith, etc)
-Indentured Servitude
-Slavery
-The levels of society in the Spanish Colonies
-Bartolome de las Casas
