7th Grade: Eurasia or Europe and Asia? Project

Hey 7th graders:

I'm glad that MOST of you took the initiative to get your homework done last night...and thank you very much.

Most of you probably didn't finish today's work in class, so here is your reminder of what I want you do to over the weekend:

1) Finish Section C on page 43, filling the entire 8 lines with a mini-essay explaining your opinion about whether or not you think Europe and Asia should stay separate continents or combine to become Eurasia. Be sure to back up your opinion with FACTS!!!

2) Use that opinion essay to create an 8 1/2 x 11 poster (regular computer paper size) that will persuade others to have the same opinion as you have. Remember that to make something persuasive you need to include:

-facts
-pleasing visuals
-dramatic colors
-pictures (but no stick figures)
