7th grade: 7 Elements, 5 Themes, 5 Religions Review Questions (+ Answers)

Hello 7th graders:

Please remember that you are allowed to bring one page of notes (only one side with writing, please) to use on the quiz. You are NOT ALLOWED to simply copy and paste these questions, nor to directly copy them. You need to re-write any notes you bring in your own words, and not in question (answer) format like I have used below.

If you do come with your notes in this format you will not be allowed to use them on the quiz.

26. What is atheism and name an atheist religion (do not believe in a god, Buddhism)

27. What is monotheism and name a monotheistic religion (belief in only one god, Christianity, Judaism, Islam)

28. What is henotheism and name a religion which could be considered henotheistic (belief in only one god but acceptance of the existence of many gods, Hinduism)

29. What is polytheism and name a polytheistic religion (belief in many gods, Hinduism)

30. What is Moksha? (state of perfect understanding in Hinduism)

31. What is nirvana? (finding detachment and ending suffering in Buddhism)

32. What is reincarnation and why do people do it in Hinduism and Buddhism? (coming back to another life after you have died; you reincarnate until you reach Moksha or nirvana)
