Due to Monday's holiday and Friday's Opera visit, it's going to be a short week:
6th grade: We will continue learning about the Ancient Americans by shifting from the Clovis to the Mississippians and the Anasazi. On Tuesday you will present your Clovis Filmstrips to the class, and on Wednesday-Thursday we will be working in the computer lab on group research projects. Friday our class will be cut short due to the Opera visit, but any remaining time will also be spent in the computer lab. Also, I apologize for changing this so many times, but I promise (barring unforeseen events), your Ancient Americans quiz will be Wednesday, October 12!
--

7th grade: Please remember both your physical and human geography packets for South America are due on Tuesday! We will spend Tuesday discussing these packets and working in the classroom on your country projects, and Wednesday-Thursday working on the projects and map skills in the computer lab. We will not have class on Friday due to the Opera visit, however, your country projects are due for presentation on Monday, October 10! We will spend the rest of the week reviewing and you will have your Geography of the Americas quiz (including country identification and general information) on Friday, October 14.
--

8th grade: Remember that both your Ancient Egypt packet and the in-class activity questions are due on Tuesday! We will spend time discussing them in class, and then will spend the rest of the week working on group research projects which will be presented to the class on Monday, October 10. Your Ancient Egypt quiz will be on Thursday, October 13.
--

9th grade: Don't forget your Louis XIV assignment is due on Tuesday! We will spend time discussing it in class, then turn our focus to Peter the Great. On Wednesday-Friday (a short time only on Friday before we leave for the Opera) we will spend time in the computer lab working on an Absolutism webquest. Your Absolutism quiz will be on Thursday, October 13.
--

Looks like another great week!
