Hello again to all!
I thought I would post this a little early so everyone would know exactly what's going to happen this next week:
The end of Quarter 1 is looming (Friday) and due to last week's crazy-ish schedule we have A LOT to do before your final grades can be posted...
6th grade: Due to Friday's late arrival back at school, I will be giving you one more day to finish your Ancient Americas group project. You will be presenting these to the class on Tuesday, reviewing for your quiz on Wednesday, and taking your Ancient Americas Quiz on Thursday, October 13. You will spend the last day of the quarter looking at the different jobs that use social studies skills.

7th grade: Yay! Your North and South America Country Project Presentations are due on Monday! I am looking forward to your presentations! These will last Monday-Tuesday, and you will spend Wednesday practicing your map skills in the computer lab. On Thursday you will review for your quiz, and Friday, October 14 will be your North and South America Quiz.

8th grade: Be sure you have your pyramids ready for Group Pyramid Projects, as you will be presenting these to the class on Monday! On Tuesday you will learn about the "fall" of Ancient Egypt, and Wednesday you will review for your Ancient Egypt quiz, which is Thursday, October 13. On Friday you will have a fun surprise activity!

9th grade: Be sure you are ready to turn in your Peter "the Great"? Webquest opinion essays on Monday! Between you and your partner you will need to turn in your answers to all the questions (just one set) and both of your essays. You can check out how your essays will be graded using the rubric located within the webquest "Evaluation" section. Monday-Tuesday in-class will be spent working on a very special Absolutism DBQ [ :) ], Wednesday you will review, and Thursday you will have your Absolutism Quiz. Friday you will spend the class bringing all your learning from Quarter 1 together in a Quarter 1 review!
